“Unplanned” Movie Will Profile Courageous Planned Parenthood Director Who Becomes Pro-Life
The maker of the famous MyPillow has donated $1 million to help finance “Unplanned,” a pro-life film about former Planned Parenthood director Abby Johnson.
Michael Lindell, the creator of MyPillow and a pro-life and conservative activist, recently helped fund one-sixth of the entire production budget for the pro-life film.
“I don’t get into things for the money; I get into them if the message is right,” Lindell told The Hollywood Reporter.
“Unplanned” is based on the life of Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood director who became pro-life. The film is titled after Johnson’s book of the same name, which details how she left the abortion industry because of the compassionate outreach of pro-lifers with 40 Days for Life.
The film is written and directed by Chuck Konzelman and Cary Solomon, who co-wrote the popular 2014 Christian film “God’s Not Dead,” as well as “I Can Only Imagine.” Both films were commercially successful at the box office, earning $61 million and $84 million, respectively.
After leaving Planned Parenthood, Johnson began to help other abortion workers leave their jobs. She now runs a non-profit organization called And Then There Were None, which provides support to help abortion facility workers quit their jobs.
Lindell also has a cameo in “Unplanned,” and it certainly makes a statement: He is seen bulldozing a Planned Parenthood site to make way for the headquarters of a pro-life group called 40 Days for Life, according to the report.
“I’m pro-life and I’m happy to do it,” Lindell said.
“Unplanned” is the second movie Lindell helped fund, the first being “Church People,” a Christian comedy starring Stephen Baldwin that is in post-production, according to the report. Lindell has a cameo in that film as well.

My Thoughts on this Article from Life News
We need more movies like this one. “Unplanned” is the perfect choice for a society in desperate need of a moral change. All of us should watch movies like this one and other Christian movies showing us true morality instead of the garbage shown on most big screens and TVs these days.
I am very curious about this story and look forward to seeing the movie when it comes out.
