2 Corinthians 10:3-5

“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”—2 Corinthians 10:3-5

Quick Thoughts on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

We battle evil in this world every single day. We didn’t wage the war, but it’s up to us to follow Christ and use the weapons He provides us to destroy evil and win the battle with spiritual weapons.

Through Christ, we become free and the grace of God gives us the power to fight every single day. We are to obey the Lord and accept the grace necessary to fight evil in this work every single day.

Today’s Prayer

Lord, allow us the courage to fight evil head on every single day. Give us the tools and weapons necessary to not only fight evil but also to keep it from influencing us. This world can be a terrible place, but the gifts you provide us make it wonderful. Be with us all as we fight the evils of Satan daily. In the name of Christ in Heaven, I pray, Amen.
